Candle Burning Tips/Safety
 
Never Leave Candles Unattended While Burning
Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch to prevent smoking and carbon mushrooming. 
 Re-trim wick before every use.
Always burn in a draft free are clear of combustible material such as curtains, books, baskets, etc.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Dont place lighted candles where children or pets might knock them over.
Always use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use.
Be sure candle/candleholder is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Keep wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents.  This will prevent rapid, uneven burning, and avoid flame flare-ups and sooting.
Always burn candles in well-ventilated room.
Dont burn candle all the way down. ( leave about 2 inches of wax or 1/2 if in a container)
Never touch or move a burning candle when th wax is liquid.
Never extinguish candles with water(water can cause hot wax to splatter)
Always best to use a snuffer to extinguish a candle.
Be very careful is using candles during a power outage.
Make sure a candle is completely extinguished and the wick is no longer glowing beefore leaving the room.
Extinguish a candle if it flickers repeatedly, smokes, or the flame becomes too high. 
Never Use a Candle as a night light.
